Events for busy people with jobs
There are a lot of people at Deo who are retired, older folks. They've put in their share of work, and are entitled to some rest in their golden years. However, it is also true that their preferences for when events should happen are often not compatible with people who still are out there trying hard to make a living!
Since October 2009, some of the younger working people at Deo (among whom Pastor Erik counts himself) have been meeting once a month at Erik and Marla's house, using Rob Bell's excellent NOOMA video series as a springboard for discussion. This group, known informally as "WARNING: Religious Content" - also meets socially from time to time.
