Events for people who are "Spiritual but not religious"
Not everyone was born into a faith tradition, and not everyone who was born into one chooses to continue within it. Many faith traditions have observed this trend and watched it accelerate sharply over the last 50 years.
At the same time, as much as ever, we continue to be spiritual people who need a safe place where we can be our authentic selves with others as we explore things that matter to us and to the world. Many people express that the church/synagogue/mosque or other "organized religion" is not a place where this can happen for them.
If you identify with any of this, you might consider participating in a recently started pub spirituality group known as SUDS (the Spiritually Unorthodox Discussion Society - a name coined by one of the good people at Crannog Ales). This group meets roughly once a month, to discuss issues brought forward by participants. Although pastor Erik founded this group and coordinates meeting dates and times, the participants are in charge. For more info, please consult the SUDS website at salmonarmsuds.weebly.com
